e-Bike Touring reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions by updating the present document without prior notice. The user agrees that if any part of these Terms and Conditions is found to be no longer applicable, the remaining provisions shall be amended to remain as effective and compliant with the law as possible. By using the Website, users agree to be bound by any such modifications and to periodically review this document.

e-Bike Touring uses cookies. A cookie is a small quantity of data sent from the Website and stored on the user’s device via the browser. Rental Conditions

1. The client (renter) is fully responsible for the rented equipment.
2. The rented equipment is not insured. The renter assumes 100% of the breakage risk and 100% of the theft risk.
3. In case of theft or total damage, the cost of the equipment will be charged to the renter at the wholesale price of the lessor, adjusted for any depreciation due to wear and age.
4. In case of theft, the renter must immediately report the incident to the local police authority.
5. In case of damage due to negligence, intentional damage or partial damage, the full repair cost will be charged to the renter.
6. During the rental period, it is possible to exchange the rented equipment for another of the same category. Against the payment of an additional fee, an upgrade to a higher category is available. No refund will be issued for a change to a lower category.
7. The rental cost is calculated including the last day of rental. Equipment must be returned by 7:00 PM on the date confirmed in the contract. An additional day’s fee will be charged for returns after this time.
8. If the rented equipment is not returned — for any reason — by the end of the confirmed rental period, the lessor will report the matter as theft to the local police authority after the 7th day from the agreed return date.
9. Equipment may be returned before the end of the rental period; however, no refund will be given for early returns. Refunds are granted only in case of illness or accident, upon presentation of a valid medical certificate.
10. With his/her signature, the renter agrees to the appropriate adjustment of seat height, brakes and bike geometry according to his/her personal data.
11. With his/her signature, the renter declares that the equipment was received in perfect condition.
12. Online bookings may be cancelled and refunds granted only in accordance with the rules set out on the Booking Cancellation Conditions and Refund Policies page.
13. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Italian law, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Italian courts, even if the renter has his/her legal residence abroad.
14. By completing an online booking, this rental agreement is considered valid and legally binding.
